Badra Gunba noted that Abkhazian journalism relies on glorious traditions closely linked to the fate of the people and their national liberation struggle. Today, young journalists continue these traditions with a sense of responsibility to society. At the same time, the emergence of new technologies, social networks, and the blogosphere requires continuous learning and mastering of modern tools.

The value of the "New Media of Abkhazia" project was also noted separately, opening up opportunities for professional exchange with colleagues from Abkhazia and Russia. Reminding of the results of the first season, the President pointed out that the projects created on the country's culture, science, and tourism have already made a tangible contribution to its information space, and expressed confidence that the second season will launch new successful initiatives.

The Head of State expressed gratitude for assistance in the implementation of this project to First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergey Kiriyenko as well as to presidential platform "Russia — Land of Opportunities", ANO Dialog and New Media Workshop.

In conclusion, Badra Gunba wished the participants of the second season success, interesting ideas, and new achievements for the benefit of the development of Abkhaz media.
