Badra Gunba opened the Abkhazian-Russian cross-border youth forum

Before the ceremony began, the President, along with the forum participants and guests, familiarized himself with the exhibition in the foyer of Abkhazian State University, where IT companies presented their new developments being implemented in real life.

Welcoming the guests and participants of the meeting, the President emphasized that it is a great honor for Abkhazia to host such a representative forum, uniting young leaders of Abkhazia and Russia. According to him, such meetings are of particular importance: they give young people the opportunity to get to know each other better, share experiences, and find common interests, which strengthens mutual trust and lays the foundation for the development of relations between our peoples.

Badra Gunba recalled that the first stage of the forum took place in Nalchik in May of this year and expressed gratitude to the Head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Kazbek Kokov, whose support ensured the event was held at a high level and became an important platform for strengthening friendly ties between the youth of Abkhazia and Russia. The Head of State expressed confidence that the Abkhazian children will fondly remember this trip, their acquaintance with the history, culture, and hospitality of fraternal Kabardino-Balkaria.

In his speech, the Head of State specifically noted that Abkhazia and Russia are bound by long-standing historical ties, traditions of mutual respect and support. The strength of these relations is determined not only by intergovernmental cooperation but also by human connections, trust, and mutual understanding between peoples.

Badra Gunba emphasized the importance of young people having the opportunity to meet, communicate, learn, and work together. The Head of State noted that although the forum participants are just beginning their journey, it is they who will develop their countries in the future and continue the traditions of cooperation laid down by previous generations.

The President expressed confidence that our youth will do everything to ensure that the guests' stay leaves the kindest impressions, and that their acquaintance with Abkhazia will mark the beginning of a long friendship.

In conclusion, Badra Gunba wished the forum participants fruitful work and interesting acquaintances, declaring the Abkhazian-Russian cross-youth forum open.
