From January 1, 2027, the special state scholarship of the President of Abkhazia for postgraduate students will double and amount to 10,000 rubles.

President Badra Gunba signed a Decree amending the Decree of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia "On the Establishment of Special State Scholarships of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia for Postgraduate Students and Students of State Educational and Scientific Research Institutions".

Previously, the payment amount was 5,000 rubles.
