Badra Zurabovich Gunba
Born on August 14, 1981 in the city of Sukhumi, Abkhaz ASSR.
In 1998, he graduated from secondary school No. 20 in Sukhumi and entered the economics department of the Abkhaz State University.
In 1999, he transferred and in 2003, the economics department of the Saratov State Agrarian University named after N.I. Vavilov, specializing in accounting and auditing.
From December 2003 to August 2004 - leading specialist in the department of financing the social sphere and the administrative apparatus of the Finance Committee of the Saratov City Administration of the Russian Federation.
From August 2004 to February 2006, he held various positions in the financial department of the Oktyabrsky District of the Saratov City Administration.
In 2005, he was awarded the qualification rank of junior municipal adviser of the Russian Federation, 3rd class.
From February 2005 to February 2006, he underwent professional retraining at the Saratov Regional Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Managers and Specialists in the Agro-Industrial Complex, specializing in "Organization of Legal Support".
In 2007, he defended his PhD thesis at the Saratov State Agrarian University named after N.I. Vavilov, specializing in "Economics and Management of the National Economy", on the topic "Economic Regulation of the Proportionality of Production and Consumption of Agricultural Products in the Regional Food Market: Using the Example of the Saratov Region".
From April 2007 to June 2007 - Leading Specialist in the Consolidated Planning Sector of the Consolidated Analytical Department of the Finance Committee of the Saratov City Administration.

On March 22, 2020, he was elected Vice President of the Republic of Abkhazia.
On April 23, 2020, he took office as Vice President of the Republic of Abkhazia
Since November 19, 2024, I have been acting President of the Republic of Abkhazia.
On March 1, 2025, he was elected President of the Republic of Abkhazia.
On April 2, 2025, he officially took office as President of the Republic of Abkhazia.
