The situation with the water supply to seven villages left without water as a result of a landslide in the village of Duripsh was discussed.

As a result of the incident, a section of a water pipeline with a length of about 500 meters was damaged, which led to the cessation of water supply in seven settlements.

The Head of State criticized the responsible services for the fact that the necessary work had not been started during the day.

The President stressed that further delay was unacceptable, and demanded that the necessary equipment be delivered to the site tonight so that work could begin tomorrow morning and not waste another day.

According to Demir Gamisonia, the head of the Capital Construction Department, first of all, it is necessary to clear about 300 meters of the road in order to provide access to the damaged section of the water pipeline. After that, the specialists will be able to proceed directly to the restoration work. 

The possibility of temporarily installing plastic pipes and then replacing them with metal ones is being considered. 

This will make it possible to restore water supply to populated areas as soon as possible.

The Head of State instructed the responsible services to ensure the necessary coordination of work and take all measures to restore water supply as soon as possible.
