September 1 was traditionally greeted with a festive lineup with festive performances. Badra Gunba congratulated teachers, schoolchildren and their parents on the start of the new school year.

The President noted that 152 secondary schools are ready to receive students this academic year, which will accommodate about 29,000 children. About 2,300 first-graders entered the first grade.
