The main directions of trade and economic cooperation were discussed.

The importance of expanding business contacts was emphasized. This is facilitated by the regular holding of joint events with the participation of Abkhaz and Russian entrepreneurs. The role of the International Investment Forum "Abkhazia – Investments in the Future", held in Sukhum in April, was also highlighted.

"This matter is especially relevant given the joint work carried out by our countries to create an effective, investment-attractive model of the economy of Abkhazia. This, in particular, has a positive impact on the bilateral trade turnover, which has increased almost 2.5 times over the past five years," Denis Manturov stressed.

Special attention was paid to the possibilities of increasing trade, including by increasing the supply of Abkhaz fruit and vegetable products to the Russian market.
