The Head of State emphasized in his address that this date holds a special place in the history of Abkhazia. Badra Gunba noted that from the first day of the war, our soldiers were firmly convinced of the liberation of their hometown and, despite the most difficult trials, they did not lose faith in Victory, step by step bringing this long-awaited day closer.

"May peace, creation and prosperity strengthen in our country, and may Sukhum become more beautiful and stronger every year. I wish all residents of Sukhum and the whole of Abkhazia good health, prosperity and peace," the President said.
