Welcoming the guests, the Head of State emphasized the strategic and allied nature of the relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation, noting the importance of cooperation with the regions of Russia.
The President expressed gratitude to Beslan Agrba for his personal efforts and contribution to the reconstruction of the historical part of the Dioskurov Embankment.
Welcoming the guest, the President noted the high level of cultural cooperation between Abkhazia and Russia. Badra Gunba emphasized that visits by famous cultural figures serve as further evidence of the strong humanitarian ties between the countries. The Head of State added that the republic is always happy to host such distinguished artists, and this once again emphasizes the special depth of bilateral cooperation.
The Head of State was accompanied by Vice-President Beslan Bigvava and the First Deputy Governor - Chairman of the Government of the Samara Region Vitaly Shabalatov.

The event was attended by Vice-President Beslan Bigvava, Speaker of Parliament Lasha Ashuba, veterans, servicemen, mothers of the fallen, and public representatives.
A delegation from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived in the republic to participate in the celebrations dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Abkhazia. 
President Badra Gunba and First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko held a joint briefing for media representatives on the embankment, which reopened after reconstruction, during which they answered journalists' questions.
