The meeting was attended by Deputy Head of the Administration of the President Saida Butba, Minister of Justice Anri Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs Daur Kove, Minister of Internal Affairs Dmitry Dbar, Acting Chairman of the State Security Service of the Republic of Abkhazia Robert Kiut, Deputy Prosecutor General Damir Kvitsiniya, Chairman of the State Committee for Repatriation Vadim Kharaziya, Head of the Passport Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Beslan Bigvava, Senior Assistant on Citizenship Issues at the Administration of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Milana Smyr.

More than seventy applications for the restoration and granting of Abkhazian citizenship were submitted to the commission for consideration. The meeting of the Commission on Citizenship under the President will be held no more than once every two months.
