The President of Abkhazia, Badra Gunba, held a meeting with the President of the Media Football League, Nikolai Osipov, and the League’s Technical Director, Dmitry Kortava.

The President of Abkhazia, Badra Gunba, held a meeting with the President of the Media Football League, Nikolai Osipov, and the League’s Technical Director, Dmitry Kortava.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia for Youth and Sports, Tarash Khagba, as well as President of the Football Federation of Abkhazia, Shabat Logua.

 

The parties discussed preparations for the upcoming season of the Media Football League. In addition, an opening match will take place in Sukhum on April 24, featuring teams “Apsny” and “Amkal.”

President Badra Gunba noted that the country’s leadership will provide the necessary support for hosting the League’s matches. According to the Head of the State, this will contribute to the development of sports in the republic and the popularization of the country.

In turn, Nikolai Osipov expressed gratitude for the support and confirmed the Media Football League’s readiness to hold the planned events in Abkhazia.
