The campus unites the leading universities of the republic, scientific laboratories and competence centers. Among the key tasks are the integration of education, science and industry, the development of interdisciplinary research, innovation and international cooperation.

The President of Abkhazia highly appreciated the modern scientific and educational complex created in Ufa. Badra Gunba noted that the scale of the campus demonstrates the priorities of Bashkortostan's development — education, science, innovation, technology and personnel training.

On the campus site, the Head of State visited the Abkhaz-Russian Cultural Center and got acquainted with its work.

The President was presented with the main activities of the center, its opportunities for educational, scientific and cultural events, as well as the development of contacts between young people, teachers and researchers from Abkhazia and Bashkortostan.

Badra Gunba highly appreciated the work of the center and thanked the leadership of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Ufa University of Science and Technology for its opening.

The Head of State emphasized the special importance of such platforms for strengthening traditional friendly relations between Abkhazia and Bashkortostan.

"It is gratifying that our youth continues the traditions of friendship between the peoples of Abkhazia and Bashkortostan. It is through the educational, scientific and cultural contacts of young people that this friendship gets new content, strengthens and is passed on to the next generations," Badra Gunba said. 

The President of Abkhazia stressed the importance of further expanding direct contacts between students, teachers and scientists, as well as implementing joint scientific and educational projects.

During the visit to the center via video call from Sukhum, Maya Kaitanba, Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Tourism of the Abkhazian State University, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor, joined the meeting.

She spoke about the scientific and educational contacts of the Abkhazian State University with the Ufa University of Science and Technology, noting the existing cooperation and prospects for its further development.

Special attention was paid to the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of geography and tourism, conducting joint research, exchanging scientific experience, as well as developing academic contacts between teachers and students.
