According to the Head of State, work is underway to expand the international recognition of Abkhazia in various areas, including African states, Latin American countries, and the Asia-Pacific region. The President stressed that this process takes time and is connected with global political processes, as well as with constant and consistent diplomatic work.

Badra Gunba expressed gratitude to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Bartsits and the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the work carried out, noting the professionalism, competence and responsible attitude to the tasks set. 

The Head of State stressed the need to continue it, as well as to build closer ties with foreign countries, including through the development of interstate contacts, interaction and mutual visits.

Separately, the President noted the importance of preserving and further developing fraternal relations with the Republic of South Ossetia. Badra Gunba stressed that Abkhazia is not indifferent to the processes taking place there, and wished the people of South Ossetia to make a choice that will contribute to the further development of the republic and the well-being of its citizens.

The Head of State instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to continue systematic work with the states that have recognized the independence of the Republic of Abkhazia, paying special attention to strengthening existing relations, expanding the legal framework and developing mutually beneficial cooperation.

The President also stressed the need for the practical implementation of already concluded international agreements. According to him, all existing agreements require additional study and analysis, after which concrete practical steps should be taken to strengthen and develop bilateral relations.

Badra Gunba paid considerable attention to security issues in the current international situation. 

The President noted that within the framework of allied relations with the Russian Federation, necessary measures are being taken to ensure the security of the Republic of Abkhazia. At the same time, the Head of State stressed that not all aspects of this work should be discussed publicly, but citizens should know that the necessary measures are being taken and this work will continue.
