The Head of State instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen cooperation with the Abkhazian diaspora. The President stressed that this is not only about the diaspora in Turkey, but also about compatriots living in Syria, Jordan and other countries of the Middle East, where the Abkhazian diaspora is widely represented and enjoys prestige.

Badra Gunba noted that the available opportunities should be used to strengthen ties with compatriots and expand their contacts with Abkhazia. The President named the international children's camp, which has been held for the second year and allows children of the Abkhazian diaspora to visit Abkhazia more often, communicate with their peers and get acquainted with the life of the republic, as one of such tools.

The President stressed that in the future, children living in Abkhazia should also take part in the work of the international camp. According to him, the joint participation of representatives of the Abkhazian diaspora and children living in the republic will allow the younger generation to communicate more closely, strengthen friendship and fraternal ties, forming a closer sense of unity and belonging to their historical homeland.
